Rolex do great sports watches. If I wanted a dress watch I’d look to JLC, Universal Geneve, VC, Patek etc. The Cellini & 1908 lack any real charm in my eyes. In total I have owned 12 Rolex watches – all purchased at official Rolex ADs – and more than half of them have or have had issues with poor quality control (e.g. scratched hands, sloppy and bad text printing, dust on dials, lume and crystals, etc.).
