I like that Yobokies does this with his dials based on existing watches. On one hand I can understand putting Seiko on an aftermarket dial that takes a lot of cues from a Seiko design, like if someone made a SKX dial but without the day-date, or one that looks a GS diver.

There are a TON of aftermarket dials available to mimic the celebration dial and they'e so good they're almost impossible to differentiate. There is a 0% chance that I'd buy one from anyone other than an AD/boutique or a very, very trusted dealer.

I prefer the dial color of the Rolex but the smooth bezel / jubi bracelet combo ("Eddie Felson") is a winner.

I'm fine with it, provided that as long as when a modded watch is put up for sale with one of those dials, it's clearly indicated that this is a mod, and not a genuine OEM dial/watch. In some cases that's beyond obvious, Seiko never made a 1016 Explorer dial, or a Doxa dial, etc.
