Maybe a smooth bezel/oyster combo with a sportier look would have worked better in 41mm, but the DJ41 looked way too big on my 7" wrist. and I regularly wear 44mm watches. It really depends on the type of watch, the lug to lug, thickness, case shape.

I have the new 41mm Sub, and while I guess it's technically a mm bigger than the previous model, the way they tapered the lugs makes it wear much better than the previous version. I also had a chance to try on a 41mm OP. I thought it would wear too large as a dressier watch that was all dial, but it wore beautifully.
