I've only purchased one watch from Joma (a Glycine). The manufacturer's warranty card was not included with the "papers". I did get a Jomashop warranty card. My understanding is that this is not uncommon, if not typical, of grey market purchases. What is the benefit to a re-seller of holding back the warranty cards which now only have a serial# where that same serial number appears on the watch. I would want a huge discount if I were buying a new Rolex without any warranty.

Every other grey dealer, different story, they give you the full 5 year Rolex warranty intact. You can ABSOLUTLY send a watch purchased from Jomashop to Rolex for service. However, it will be at your cost. They will NOT service it under warranty. Joma is good to buy mid tier brands at discounts if you truly don’t care about a warranty card. That’s about it. I wouldn’t sell it buy anything preowned to/from them. So when Jomashop gets their watches, the warranty card is not typically filled out, so they have nothing to pass on or register with the manufacturer - hence no manufacturer's warranty.
