Sometimes ill even see it stop for a second and jump to catch up. I'm not sure how often this happens as it is keeping perfect time. It seems that I can almost make it skip by rolling my wrist quickly.
Hi all, I recently bought a seamaster 30, 135.007-64. It has some issue with the seconds hand stuttering, sometime completely stopped and becoming weightless (pointing to gravity) but the watch is ticking.
There is a sweeping second hand on the 9 O'Clock sub dial. I too like to see the hand move and was first a little put off by having to look at the sub dial, but once you get used to it, it's fine. I have a problem with my Omega Seamaster from 2007. it is a 22558000. It has movement 1120. When i pull out the crown fully, i can adjust the time but the second hand never stops, it keeps on moveing.. i read in the manual this for the 1120 movement: My omega seamaster aqua Terra second hand sweep was acting funny today. It would sweep five seconds at a time. So no movement for 4 seconds, then a catch up sweep of the second arm to five seconds. It only happens sometimes, not all .
Hi, I have an Omega Seamaster 300 (mid face) in Blue with the Automatic motion. I have had it around 8 years and is the older type with the Seamaster typeface in white and not red. The problem is that the second hand occasionally gets stuck as it passes the minute hand (normally at around 20 past). You’ve got a bad mainspring or balance wheel. When you move the components around you kinda force some juice into the balance wheel and it works for a moment, but then dies when it runs out of stored power. Your best bet is to replace the movement. How to fix it depends on the specifics of the problem. If the hand is off the marker a slight amount, but is off that exact same amount all around the dial, then it's a simple matter of lining up the hand properly. So the hand would be removed and reset properly lined up. Take the movement out. Touch the second hand (gently) with a piece of pegwood. If it moves easily you’ll know. It should be “tight” on the post and not move with a gentle touch.
I recently received a watch containing Omega Caliber 562 movement with an unknown service history but was told it was keeping time but running fast at around 25+ seconds a day. . Today upon receiving this watch i noticed the hour and minute hands do not move but the seconds hand does sweep.
