The 1210 Calibre movement is correct for early production 6694's. I believe the watch would have had a radium dial and hands originally, however these have been replaced at some point during its life with an updated tritium dial and handset. The bracelet is genuine Rolex, but not the original one this watch came with. I need some advice/reassurance with deciding on a suitable bracelet for a 1960s Rolex Oyster Date Precision 6694. I'm about to pull the trigger on these bands from Rafflesdials. When looking at the Rolex Oysterdate Precision Ref. 6694, you’ll notice its strap/bracelet is designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind. This vintage watch features a three-link Oyster bracelet, which provides robust support and adds to its classy look. About the only recommendation for it is get a bracelet and make sure the mainspring gets replaced first chance you get - also keep an eye on the crown tube, a manually wound watch like this gets wear on that and it needs fixing occasionally.However, classic good looks and rich dial colors, along with the oyster bracelet do much to mitigate that argument. Stainless Steel Rolex 6694. The 6694 came with several different dial colors, silver, blue, and black being primary among them. The odd, occasional champagne dial pops up as well.
